Wilson Ultra 100 V5
Description
Best for: Intermediate club and league players (roughly 3.5–4.5) who want easy, dependable power and a big sweet spot without having to generate all the pace themselves.
The Ultra is Wilson's power line, and the v5 delivers effortless depth on a relaxed swing — point it and the frame does a lot of the work, which makes it a natural fit for doubles and all-court play. This version dropped the stiffness from the previous generation (down to around 67 RA) and added Crush Zone grommets for better pocketing, so it feels more controlled and a touch more comfortable than Ultras of the past while keeping that quick, aerodynamic handling. It's genuinely forgiving on off-center hits.
Consider something else if: you're a heavy topspin player chasing maximum spin, or you have arm sensitivity and want a truly soft frame — look at the Pure Aero or the Clash respectively.
